“From Matthieu Mayer to “MATYER”…  

There was a whole work of "condensation"... of gathering... We could also call it an "alchemical gathering"...”

Here is the link (click on the image) to an album that you might enjoy in the extension of "Soul Drops" & "Essential": it is the album "Abyssal Gems", the first work that I published, in the form of a cd with an art booklet, of my graphics.

It is an album whose contemplation is intense, but which can also confuse, surprise...  

Nb: if you are used to meditating you can very well use it to strengthen your seat.

I therefore refer you to this first site where I developed the artistic universe that I sign with the name "MATYER", and which is the fruit of a whole artistic and spiritual quest:

- At the beginning I had this intuition that the sitar could sound "rock*": that an unexpected musical dimension - and also another dimension of me - could be expressed in it... Me who played very soft sitar notes for put my beauty to sleep at night for years and who - as a "well-being bodybuilder" subscribed to soft & acoustic music - had relegated to the past my schoolboy taste for hard rock and my high school and student taste for rock progressive… I discovered that I still liked “that”, in any case that a part of me had a vital need for these distorted sounds to express itself, to be heard!

- This "sitar revolution" was synchronized with a turning point in my life where I had to welcome the worst emotions, the worst feelings with the most painful thoughts and memories of all my life: in short, there are MATYER albums a radical work of love:  

That of accepting the dark feelings, the suffering… and letting the energy of acceptance transmute them into something greater & more beautiful!

(* I was thus the inventor of the electric sitar… Until I was at the end of the preparation of my site and I checked by acquired conscience that no one had done it before me… “Too bad”: the electric sitar was indeed invented in the 70s… But my way of playing it remains unique! ;)
